Paws 4 Thought is a family run business based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. We are committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. Over the last 5 years we have looked after all sorts of pets. Not only cats and dogs, but smaller pets, such as rats, to the larger ones including horses, and sometimes more unusual ones, such as Chickens!
Due to the nature of the pet sitting service, we tend to have a lot of rescue dogs, all with their own little characters, and have seen some wonderful results with the care and dedication of their adoptive owners. A perfect example of this is "Goofey". Here he is in all his splendour!
We have been looking after "Goof" for quite some time now, when Kelly and Tom are away on holiday.
He is a rescue cross Mastiff/Boxer, and has a lot of Boxer traits. When we first House Sat for "Goof", Kelly and Tom had not long had him. As with many rescues, he came along with problems that needed to be addressed. "Goof" was suffering with "Anxiety Separation Disorder", and in the beginning, although having a lovely, placid temperament, couldn't be left alone, without tearing down curtains, amongst other things and becoming frantic. Kelly and Tom sought behavioural help, and with the care and dedication of this young couple, we have seen "Goof" mature into a happy and well adjusted chap, and we say "Well Done" to you both for your perseverance and love of animals.
